How to Clean Your Wine Refrigerators

Like all kitchen appliances wine refrigerators also tend to get dirty. This appliance however requires a different kind of cleaning because of the special kind of materials used in making it. The interior of a wine ref is made of rubber coated metal or stainless steel. The exterior housing is usually made of plastic or stainless steel and covered with either leather or vinyl. Therefore, you should use different types of cleaning solutions for the interior and exterior of your wine ref.

First, unplug the wine ref from its source and let it cool down to room temperature. Remove the shelves and all the contents of the wine ref. Mix a quart of warm water with 2 tablespoons of baking soda until fully dissolved. Using a sponge dipped in the baking soda solution wipe the insides of the wine ref. Then, use a dry soft cloth to wipe away the excess water. Allow it to dry completely before returning its contents. To clean the exterior, mix a quart of warm water and a few drops of mild liquid detergent. Use the same procedure in cleaning your ref interiors.
